  1. The First Issue

    The First Issue

Welcome to the wonderful world of Kluster. In case you’ve not heard of us before (open your ear/eyes, people), we’re the new kids on the online block. The next big thing? Only time will tell. For this, our inaugural issue, we’ve got undercover operations geared at discovering the most effective attire to adorn before stepping out with your skateboard. An insightful look into the world of bands and their moonlitcal activities. A Grandance discussion with Dappled Dave (Rennik). A rant about the benefit of being a whoreish housewife. A quick Q&A with N Zeds hottest new indie export, Shaky Hands (aka Cut Off Your Hands).

  2. The Art Issue

    The Art Issue

We’re back. This time it’s an art attack. We explore the creative hub that is the Semi Permanent Design Conference and some of the artists and speakers at this year’s event. Including the awe-inspiring Tiffany Bozic, typographer extraordinaire Si Scott, Scandinavian design duo Toko, Australian live-music photographer Sophie Howarth and skate photography aficionado Mike O’Meally. There is also a bit on cultish Sydney independent gallery space, China Heights, and a video work commissioned by Romance Was Born from our favourite Sydney video artist, Kim Greenway. The World Press Photo Exhibition (who ever said that media and art are not intertwined?) gets a look in.

  3. The Fashion Issue

    The Fashion Issue

As the summer season progresses and the living gets easier we take some time out from extended poolside stints to return to our little section of the world wide web. The theme this time around? Fashion, darlink. Hidden amongst the pages of this issue is a look at one of our favourite Sydney shopping institutions, Pretty Dog, its wares and cares and the woman behind the counter for more than ten delightful years now. There’s a bit on the little design three-piece that could, Sixhands, and we talk to inspirational Sydney stylist Tiana Wallace about the fashion game. Romance Was Born’s Luke Sales and jewellery designer Toby Jones also grace the pages.

  4. The Film Issue

    The Film Issue

Welcome to the wonderful world of Kluster film. Where directors, musicians, distribution houses, cinemas and video sharing sites all come together. For this, our second issue of 2008, we’ve been getting amongst a number of different facets of film. Bree Dillion, chats to Sydney’s finest music video export, director Kris Moyes. Cat Juan spends some time grilling the delightful Director of Hopscotch, Australia’s premier indie cinema distribution house. Join Empire of The Sun’s Nick Littlemore and his band of merry music makers in a cavernous Marrickville warehouse space, as they embarked on a one-night improvisational film-soundtrack-recording adventure… And that’s just the tip of this filmic iceberg.

  5. The Love Issue

    The Love Issue

We’ve been around for five whole issues now so, we thought, it’s high time we create an issue dedicated to all the things that Kluster loves, right? We love you. Promise. But we also believe that our creative affections are best served polygamous. So… we also love Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art, Brooklyn’s best outdoor event McCarren Pool Parties, The Ravonette’s Sune Rose Wagner, Sydney photographers Dan Boud and Cybele Malinowski, delightfully quirky concept artist Sonya Gee, fixed gear bikes, bees (because they are dying, people), the internet, and so much more.
